CBAA Intramural Soccer leases the athletic fields from the Central Bucks School District, Buckingham, Doylestown & Plumstead Townships; our use of these fields is managed by the District/Township and is dependent upon the overall condition of the fields.
Note: All players must wear black shorts, black socks, shin guards, and soccer cleats. Bring a ball and water to each practice/game.
Uniform -- Our player jerseys consists of a "home" green jersey and an "away" white jersey through our Adidas and Angelo's partners. Jerseys may be re-used from season to season. Players who are participating is U12 and above, must have a number on their jersey. Black adidas shorts and black adidas socks complete the required uniform. Jerseys, black adidas shorts and black adidas socks can be purchased during registration.
Practice Night: When you register, you will be asked which night your child is able to practice. Coaches choose the night they are available to practice and we will provide your child's coach with any conflicts you may have. Teams are not formed based solely on when your child is available to practice; we capture that information to convey it to your child's coach. Please understand that our coaches are parents, too, and they choose their practice night according to their availability. Your flexibility, patience and understanding of the challenges we face in accommodating everyone's busy schedule is appreciated. If necessary, we will move children onto alternate teams to accommodate scheduling conflicts. There is no weekday practice for U5 and U6 registrant, as it's included in the Saturday morning program.
Team Formations: Teams will be formed based on various factors that include player evaluations (for U12 through U19 leagues), number of season’s played/experience, carpooling requests, coach requests and friend requests. Head Coaches can be assigned up to two of their child's friends, which includes any request for a specific Assistant Coach. Parents in the junior division (U10 and under) may request a child's friend to be on the same team as long as that request is mutual. However, we cannot guarantee all such requests. U12 and up will follow a player draft for team formations in order to create fair and evenly matched teams.
Under-5 and Under-6 leagues will be led by our professional coaching partners at Total Soccer. Children enrolled in the U5 and U6 programs will be scheduled for a one-hour session on Saturdays only. Parents of children have the option of accompanying their children "dressed to play" as they work with our professional trainers to teach their children basic soccer skills. In addition to learning skills in the U6 program, the children will play small-sided (3 vs.3) "games."
Volunteering: CBAA relies on parents to volunteer their time to support our athletic programs. For parents who are unable to volunteer their time, we offer a buy-out fee so that we can supplement our volunteers with paid help.
